Eversham Portable Fire Extinguisher Inspection Sheet
by Peter Eversham, from the Community
Use this monthly service sheet to inspect portable fire extinguishers fitted to vehicles and heavy equipment. Record equipment details and verify extinguisher suitability for the fire hazard, visibility and access, safety pin and anti-tamper device, legible instructions and service tag, external damage or corrosion, hose and nozzle condition, and pressure indicator. Weigh units where required, confirm signage and mounting bracket, check valve function, UV bag condition, and that dry chemical powder remains free-flowing. Include actuating device and internal component checks, plus mobility for wheeled units. Capture technician details and signatures.
