Use this monthly inspection checklist to assess Zekelman steel racking systems as part of JHSC safety walks. Verify posted load capacities and PSR or letter of exemption, and check beams, welds, safety pins, braces, frames, and baseplates for damage or deflection. Confirm pallet condition, support, and balance; ensure loads are secured and that row spacers, safety bars or mesh, and netting are in place where people work or pass underneath. Record issues, add photos, and assign corrective actions to maintain safe, compliant storage.
