Poka-Yoke Checklist: LA Rear BSD Wet Out Machine
by Nick Martin, from the Community
This Poka-Yoke checklist helps operators prevent assembly and process errors on the LA Rear BSD Wet Out Machine. It guides users to confirm the RPA bracket is present, verify the machine will not cycle when incorrect LH or RH BSD brackets are loaded, and ensure the correct valance is selected for V6 or V8 fascia. The checklist includes AP sensor checks, vacuum chute validation for tape backing, and interlock verifications so the machine will not cycle under wrong conditions. Use it to standardize setup, reinforce safety, and maintain quality at each run.
