Use this paint rejection note to document defects identified in the rail build process at the paint shop, such as missing welds, porosity, missing charge points, missing cable holes, incorrect IDs, slit or grind marks, unbuffed joints, and flat spots. Capture quantities and images, then route the rail section back for rework. The rail shop records repairs completed, uploads photos, and notes the person responsible and date of completion. Final sign-off confirms all repairs are accepted by the paint shop.
