Glass, Hard Plastic, Wood and Ceramic Monthly Checklist
by Rachel Giese, from the Community
This monthly checklist supports foreign material risk control at the North Tonawanda facility of J. Rettenmaier USA. It guides teams to locate and verify condition and integrity of glass, hard plastic, wood and ceramic items across ball mills, production lines, shipping and warehouse zones. Typical checkpoints include forklift lights and mirrors, safety glasses, metal detector alert lights, shovels, broom handles, hose reels, gauges, clocks, dock and warehouse lighting, exit and emergency lights, sanitizer dispensers, PVC tubes and more. Use it to document findings, correct issues promptly and maintain GMP compliance and audit readiness.
