Use this goods inwards inspection sheet to standardize receiving checks for materials such as timber and glass. Record delivery details, batch or pack numbers, and the operator receiving. Assess packaging condition and note damage, take five random moisture readings and escalate to QC if any reading exceeds 12, check bearers count and forklift impact. For glass, randomly sample units to identify internal blemishes, external scratches, and debris, and capture comments. Improve traceability and quality at goods receipt.
