This COSHH audit checklist helps teams review how hazardous substances are controlled on site. It covers maintaining accurate chemical inventories, procedures for approving chemicals entering the site, availability of safety data sheets and COSHH risk assessments at point of use, correct storage including bunding, clear labelling and segregation of waste, and required PPE. It prompts checks for spill kits and spill response, hand washing facilities, controls for dust and fumes, and first aid measures such as eyewash and burns treatment. It also includes safe management of gas cylinders, regulator inspection dates, and suitable firefighting equipment in areas using flammable chemicals. Use this template to enhance compliance and protect workers across shop floor and operational areas.
