Branch Manager 3-Monthly Safety Checklist
by ANDY HIMSWORTH, from the Community
This branch manager 3-monthly checklist helps leaders run a comprehensive safety and compliance review across an industrial branch. It covers desktop audits of previous actions, fire risk and first aid readiness, training coverage, PPE and RPE condition, and housekeeping. Workshop controls include power tools, on-tool extraction for woodworking and welding, spray shop servicing, grit blasting, and jet wash areas. It also verifies FLT statutory reports, maintenance, and operator training, along with traffic management, lighting, security, COSHH storage, waste and recycling, and periodic electrical checks. The checklist prompts evidence capture with notes and photos to ensure issues are closed out and standards are maintained.
