Kingframe SFS Quality Assurance Checklist

Assess and authorize safe, unsupervised use of a pillar drill with this competency assessment. The checklist guides assessors through pre-use checks and safe operation, including locating the emergency stop, verifying machine stability and guard placement, checking belts, chuck and drill bit condition, selecting correct PPE, tooling and clamping, setting correct speeds for materials, making safe adjustments, protecting the table for thin work, using lubricants as needed, and post-use steps such as removing tooling, cleaning down, disposing of waste, and isolating the machine. Includes assessor and assessee sign-off and reference to a supporting risk assessment.
