This six step room inspection checklist helps housekeeping teams evaluate hotel rooms for cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance. It covers door and lighting checks, under-bed cleanliness, curtains, TV and remote, AC settings, and phone or smart device status. Glassware and bins are cleaned, and bedding is verified against standards, including linens, pillows, duvet, and bed skirt. Furniture, lamps, minibar, and storage are checked for dust and operation. Amenities are replenished and neatly arranged. Bathrooms are inspected for hair, grime, stains, odors, mold, and damage, with mirrors, fixtures, towels, and floors cleaned and in good condition. Final checks confirm lighting, supplies, furniture placement, fragrance, balcony door safety, and overall floor condition.
