Daily Opening Walkthrough Checklist Spring Summer

Use this daily opening walkthrough to prepare your cafe and roastery before trade. The checklist covers exterior and car park presentation, bin and pallet management, and commercial waste schedules. Inside, confirm kitchen and storage areas are clean and organized, refrigerators cleared of perishables, toilets stocked, and bin liners replaced. Review the AP retail and bar area for signage, lighting, merchandise, and cash handling tasks. In production and office zones, reset desks, printers, and dispatch benches, and check mail and access points. Upstairs, verify common areas, chargers, lamps, and meeting spaces are ready, and set up staff coffee and breakfast supplies. Complete health and safety checks including fire equipment locations, first aid kits and officers, and power switch boards. Record action items and resolve conflicts.
