This morning operations checklist helps restaurant teams start each day compliant and ready to serve. Verify temperatures and date checks, enforce FIFO, complete manager H&S sign-offs, and inspect for cross-contamination risks. Confirm fridge seals, probe function, soap levels, hot water, and dishwasher chemicals. Review previous cooking records and ensure eLearning access. Clean and inspect grills, fryers, microwaves, fridges/freezers, chopping blocks, and canopies; check floors, voids, and handwash areas. In the kitchen, assess trolleys, racks, sanitiser, oven seals, drains, sinks, walls, and bin areas. Front-of-house checks include toilets, seating, counters, condiment units, artwork, and overall floor cleanliness. Also review ice and frozen yoghurt machines, Deliveroo/collect pods, and coffee/till areas to maintain food safety and guest readiness.
