Kitchen Cleaning Checklist for Restaurants
by latasha vardaman, from the Community
This kitchen cleaning checklist helps restaurants and food service teams keep facilities clean, safe, and compliant. Evaluate employee hygiene, food handling, and cross contamination controls. Verify floors and docks are cleaned, temperatures for refrigerators, freezers, and dishwashers are recorded, and stoves, sinks, counters, steam tables, ovens, ice machines, and mixers are cleaned and sanitized after use. Confirm tools are inventoried, linens washed, dishes and utensils stored properly, and waste is segregated and disposed of correctly. Finish inspections with recommendations and an overall assessment to drive continuous improvement.
