This weekly pest walk checklist helps restaurant teams quickly spot and prevent pest issues. Review recent pest reports and confirm corrective actions. Conduct a 15 minute walk through all areas to look for live or dead pests, droppings, gnawed packaging, nesting, and entry points. Verify required bait stations are present. Check structure for holes, gaps, broken tiles, door seals, and proper drainage. Maintain cleanliness by managing trash, emptying and rinsing mop buckets, cleaning floors under and behind equipment, removing standing water, and sanitizing food preparation surfaces. Finally, review the latest pest report and close out any remaining action points.
