Use this checklist to conduct weekly tests of carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide alarms in hotel facilities. Verify each device is in full working order using the test button where applicable, note locations and date and time, attach a photo of the unit, and capture a signature. Follow maintenance guidance: vacuum the alarm cover monthly, do not use detergents or solvents, and do not paint the unit. Keep inspection records filed by the Hotel Manager or Maintenance Manager for compliance checks. Includes guidance for visual checks when a physical push test is not possible.
