Facility safety checks include unobstructed exits, proper storage clearances, intact ceilings and walls, covered junction boxes, working access control, adequate lighting, and compliant fire safety features like signage, pull stations, door latching, and evacuation diagrams. Clinical and support areas are reviewed for chemical labeling and storage, secured gas cylinders, medical gas shutoff labeling and access, equipment condition and inspection status, cleanliness standards, hand hygiene availability, HVAC vent cleanliness, eyewash installation and operation, and cold storage and ice machine hygiene.
