Checklist supervisi ini membantu fasilitas kesehatan menilai kepatuhan petugas terhadap prosedur penanganan limbah benda tajam dan jarum. Butir penilaian mencakup kebersihan tangan sebelum dan sesudah tindakan, penggunaan sarung tangan, larangan recapping, serta pembuangan langsung ke safety box. Termasuk persyaratan safety box: tidak tembus atau bocor, berlabel infeksius dan berwarna kuning, tidak diisi lebih dari tiga per empat, tidak berbau, tidak diletakkan di lantai, dan tidak ada benda tajam yang keluar.
