Underground Construction Completion Standards Checklist
by Mike Theide, from the Community
Use this CCSC-based checklist to verify underground electrical construction meets utility standards and GO 128 requirements. Review enclosure sizing and lids, clearances and working space, pad-mounted and live-front equipment security and labeling, grounding systems and rods, ring buss and neutral connections, cable and conduit support, tagging, sealing, and fault indicators. Confirm primary terminations with bleeder wires, test caps, and secure bails, and ensure workmanship, site cleanup, and documentation are complete. Ideal for crews and supervisors conducting completion inspections on underground distribution assets.
