Taggas Surveyor Inspection Checklist for Heat Pumps
by Tim Devlin, from the Community
Taggas surveyor inspection is a detailed checklist for assessing properties prior to heat pump installation. It captures planning constraints, EPC availability, wall types and insulation, existing heating and emitters, and occupancy. Surveyors record loft dimensions and insulation, internal wall materials, door and window details, floor types, and parking or delivery access. Room by room sections gather measurements, window sizes, radiator dimensions and TRVs to determine suitable radiator upgrades. Dedicated sections cover proposed air source heat pump location and clearances, condensate and soakaway, hot water cylinder orientation and size, and required trunking and accessories. Electrical checks include photos of the meter and consumer unit and floor plan annotations. Final steps include survey checks, comprehensive photos, and customer agreement and sign off.
