Oil and Gas Production Facility Inspection
by Kenneth Phillips, from the Community
This oil and gas production facility inspection checklist helps verify site safety and compliance across critical areas. It includes checks for wellhead barricades, clear walking surfaces, weed and fence control, required entrance, H2S and PPE signage, and emergency contacts. Inspect tanks for NFPA labels, grounding, thief hatch seals, Enardo valve, wind sock, lightning protection, berms/firewalls, and gauges. Review separators for level indicators, pressure gauges, weep holes, car seals and anchored relief valves with caps. Assess compressor units for hearing protection signage, proper grounding, and leak containment. Confirm fire extinguisher status and SCBA staging where applicable.
