This work at height deep dive audit checklist helps teams assess compliance and safety before and during elevated tasks. Verify worker training and certification, inspect ladders and both fixed and temporary access equipment, and ensure storage and tagging are correct. Check LOLER compliance for portable access gear, scaffold inspections, and the presence of collective protection where practicable. Confirm a suitable RAMS is in place, POWRA is completed, and that pre job briefs cover work at height risks. Evaluate supervision, statutory inspections, controls for falling objects, site access barriers and signage, and clear emergency arrangements and communications. Conclude with notes and discussion of findings with the working party and Area Manager.
