Gas Service and Repair Quality Control Inspection
by James Malone, from the Community
This quality control inspection checklist supports gas service and repair operations with a structured, in-progress audit. It covers electrical safety isolation and suitability of test instruments; core gas safety tasks including Regulation 26(9) checks, tightness testing, purging, working pressures, heat input, commissioning to manufacturer instructions, visual inspection of other appliances, combustion analysis, and CO alarm verification. It confirms familiarity with the Gas Industry Unsafe Situations Procedure and access to labels and notices. The template also checks equipment and calibration (manometer, flue gas analyser, PPE, first aid), van stock and consumables, and vehicle condition. A site results section captures overall score, failures, required actions or training, and both operative and QC signatures.
