DN-07d Test and Purge LP Gas Service (up to 2in/63mm)

This template guides operatives through testing, purging, and commissioning low pressure gas services up to 2 inches or 63 mm. It covers capping the opposite end, pressurizing to a minimum of 100 mbar with a hand pump, applying SGN procedures, leak detection with approved fluid, and releasing pressure safely. Purge steps include communication between operatives, use of a flame-trap purge hose, opening the ECV, PE or metallic connection methods, and stopping criteria of two successful 90 percent gas in air tests with a Gascoseeker or timed natural gas purge rates. It also includes actions for dual services, recording results, tightening and testing caps or plugs, completing labels, and sign-off.
