DN-07c Test and Purge MP Service (<= 2 in / 63 mm)

Use this DN-07c checklist to test and purge medium pressure gas services up to 2 inches or 63 mm in line with SGN procedures. Steps include fitting test equipment, introducing air, pressure testing at 3 bar with no allowable loss, and checking joints with approved leak detection fluid. Guidance covers safe purging to atmosphere, communication between operatives, and commissioning for PE and metallic connections. The checklist also includes criteria to stop purging, verifying the service excess flow valve operation, depressurizing safely, and recording results. Finish by capping the ECV or inlet valve, labeling as required, and signing off.
