Use this Phase 2 contractor orientation checklist to standardize first-shift onboarding on industrial sites. Capture site and personnel orientation, verify required PPE such as hard hat, coveralls, fall protection, gloves, boots, eye protection, and H2S monitor, complete a pre-job risk assessment, review the HSE site plan, and confirm access to SOPs. Include orientation to BOS and supporting equipment, heavy equipment inspection with competency checks, and LOTO competency. Document commissioning and servicing audit requirements, review customer specifications and deliverables including reporting and DFR, add comments and photos, and collect signatures from the orientator and contractor.
