Use this battery commissioning checklist to guide pre-install checks and verification of DC and AC systems. Confirm compliance with BS7671, cybersecurity, and relevant standards. Inspect battery voltage suitability, component selection, earthing and equipotential bonding, insulation resistance and residual current monitoring, SPD selection, cable sizing and protection, labeling, and RCDs on the AC side. Test continuity to main earthing, verify functional earth connections and interrupters, and capture evidence such as manufacturer/model, install date, fuse board, full system photos, and engineer sign-off.
