This WPS Audit template helps early childhood and education centers assess compliance with Work Health and Safety standards. It covers WHS policies, roles and responsibilities, staff induction and training, communication of safety requirements, and managing hazardous chemicals with accessible SDS. Inspect indoor and outdoor environments for trip hazards, adequate lighting, fire safety equipment, electrical tagging, hygiene practices, toy sanitization, and child supervision. Review signage, evacuation drills, PPE, and procedures for sign in and out. Evaluate road and car park safety, pedestrian access, and site perimeter including fencing, gates, drainage, lawns, and plant safety to maintain a safe learning environment.
