This UON Outdoor Space Template helps universities assess the safety, condition, and accessibility of outdoor campus areas. The checklist covers seating availability and damage, trip hazards, egress and access paths, walkway cleanliness, road and car park conditions, line marking and accessibility markings, surface slip resistance, and signage visibility. It also includes lawn maintenance, tree tagging and risks (limbs, deadwood), disability access, CCTV presence, external power (GPO) condition, lighting sufficiency and damage to fittings or poles, and emergency evacuation point identification and upkeep. Attach photos of key areas and record additional comments or safety concerns to support corrective actions.
