This room daily checklist helps educators and childcare teams prepare classrooms, welcome areas, and gardens each morning. It guides staff to visually inspect electrics and plugs, ensure door finger guards are intact, tie up cords, refresh sensory and water trays, and keep sand clean. Staff remove damaged resources, store hazardous solutions out of children’s reach, and check food storage including fridge temperatures between 4 and 5 degrees. The checklist includes welcome area tidiness, accessibility of fire extinguishers, and outdoor checks for fences, gates, debris, and animal waste. It also prompts evacuation readiness with accessible bags, medication, and first aid, plus sign off and hazard notes.
