Monthly Cleaning and Infection Control Checklist
by Ryan Ormrod, from the Community
This monthly cleaning and infection control checklist helps schools maintain a safe, hygienic learning environment. It covers classroom and staff area cleanliness, gym and equipment sanitation, stocking of consumables, and waste management. Health and safety controls include supervisor checks, toilet check sheets, MSDS availability, clear chemical labelling, color-coded tools, dosing systems, PPE, and use of safety signs. Staffing and training requirements are noted. Clinic procedures address equipment sterilisation via autoclave, availability of sterile supplies, communicable disease inclusion and exclusion policies, parent notifications, and reporting to health authorities.
