Use this CWPS checklist to conduct regular inspections of school playground equipment and surrounding structures. Review structural and mechanical integrity, verify fall zones and clearances, and confirm adequate impact-absorbing surfaces at appropriate depth. Inspect sandpits, borders and shade sails for damage or contamination. Check sports equipment such as basketball or netball rings and backboards, including required safety signage. Log hazards, assign responsible persons and track completion in the action plan section to close out corrective actions.
