Use this checklist to assess timber wall frames during residential construction. Verify ground and first floor wall heights per scope, internal door heights, and window head and sill heights to match kitchen layouts and privacy requirements. Check room dimensions and stairwell size. Inspect framing for delivery damage; confirm columns, posts, and walls are plumb, square, and straight within tolerance. Ensure double or triple studs under girders, beams, and lintels. Confirm top plates are straight, bracing installed per engineering, tie-downs to slab, slab overhang within 10 mm, and bottom plates at door openings cut out. Capture comments, media, and supervisor sign-off.
