This HR and WHS induction and training checklist helps employers onboard new staff safely and compliantly. It covers introductions to the workplace and key personnel, review of job roles, dress code and conduct, site facilities, and emergency procedures. It guides managers to brief workers on hazards and controls, issue and train on PPE, safe use of tools, machinery, and hazardous chemicals, and demonstrate tasks safely. It outlines consultation processes, incident and hazard reporting, key safety policies such as bullying and drugs and alcohol, and roles and responsibilities.
