Use this weekly checklist to assess the quality of single-ply roofing works from substrate to handover. Capture site details and attendees, confirm specifications are on site, and verify substrate condition and installation. Review vapour control layer type, laps and installation quality; check insulation visibility, type (PIR, Rockwool, XPS), condition and compliance with design. Inspect membrane visibility and condition, plus protection layers and walkways. Record metal profiles and details (upstands, parapets, skirtings, curbs, drips, sumps) and confirm installation meets manufacturer specifications. Include mansafe and guardrail completion and certification, ancillaries, and rainwater goods. Add photos, plan manufacturer inspections and electronic integrity tests, and confirm areas ready for handover.
