This Safety Walk and Talk SWAT checklist supports structured site visits and safety conversations. Review EHS visibility such as signboards, bulletin boards, evacuation routes and alarms. Check housekeeping, safe walkways and access, dust and noise control, waste management, lighting and thermal stress. Verify hazardous materials storage, lifting and rigging practices, excavations, confined space readiness, scaffolds stairs and ladders, and site vehicle condition and speed compliance. Observe behaviors including proper tool use, PPE, lockout tagout, permit to work, training, drills, communication, and risk assessment. Record best practice and observation photos, add comments, and capture signatures from site and management to complete the inspection.
