This BEMCO 2nd Fix checklist helps electrical teams complete quality assurance during building fit-out. Verify trunking and end caps, isolator and fuse ratings, cable type and size, correct bending radius, and CPC continuity in line with the 18th Edition. Confirm labeling on SWA and 6491B, install DB charts, and ensure plastic separation between live, neutral, and earth bars. Remove swarf, blank holes, replace missing panel screws, and torque vertical busbars to spec. Check manufacturer-compliant tap-offs with correctly glanded metal kopex and satisfactory earthing. Capture photo evidence, log clashes and issues, and collect installer, supervisor, and manager signatures.
