Firestopping Installation Checklist - FIREPRO HS
by Alex Dobra, from the Community
This QMS checklist supports safe, compliant installation of FIREPRO HS Firestop Compound. It guides teams through key steps: confirm project and area details, verify fire rating, clean the aperture and edges, apply acoustic intumescent sealant to batt edges with even coverage, fully fill gaps between batt and substrate, and protect plastic pipework using approved collars or intumescent wraps. Mix the HS Firestop Compound to a smooth, even consistency and install within suitable temperatures (5 to 35 C). For loadbearing requirements, pour a minimum 100 mm depth in a single pour, then smooth the surface for a professional finish. Use this checklist to strengthen quality control, consistency, and fire-stopping compliance across service penetrations.
