Use this prestart roller checklist to inspect a compaction roller before operation. Confirm critical components and safety systems including fire extinguisher, mirrors and windows, warning alarms, steering, tyres and rims, hydraulic hoses, steps and handrails, seating and seatbelts, emergency shutdown, park brake, and fluid levels. Check for leaks, coolant, exhaust condition, first aid kit availability, and ensure lights, beacons, and vibration mode function. Perform a walk-around before moving off to keep operators and worksites safe.
