by David Townsend, from the Community
Use this plumbing PPE and safety equipment checklist to confirm engineers are equipped and ready for work. Inspect ID card, gloves (latex, rubberised, tough), eye protection (glasses, goggles, visor), ear defenders, fire extinguisher, protective clothing and boots, high-visibility jacket, door barrier, dust masks, first aid kit, eye wash, RCD (visual), ladders (tagged), crawl boards, head lamp, continuity bonding clamp (TCB), and gas bottle cap. Record comments, note defects, and sign off to confirm items are present, clean, and in good order. Report missing or defective gear immediately to maintain safety and compliance on every job.
