Use this inspection checklist to assess piers and footings at the critical stage before concrete pour. It helps confirm site access and fencing, cleanliness, and hazard control; verifies sediment and erosion controls; and checks that builder and Principal Certifier signage is in place. Inspect compliance with development consent and stamped plans, ensure piering to uniform natural ground level, confirm piers and footings are within the peg-out area and free from debris or water, and note whether a full or partial inspection was undertaken. Record outcomes, required reinspection, and accreditation details.
