This checklist supports pre-disturbance surveys of watercourse crossings required under a Water Management Plan. Capture key baseline details including crossing name, location, GPS point, DAF stream order, number of channels, surrounding landform and channel geometry. Record bed and bank widths and slopes, bank type and stability, the presence and type of erosion with severity and contributing factors. Assess riparian vegetation, in-stream habitat, water presence or wet embankments, and connectivity to nearby pools. Add general notes, site photos and a site sketch to document conditions prior to construction works.
