This pre-slab inspection checklist helps builders and site supervisors verify critical items before a concrete slab pour. It covers survey set-out and levels, slab thickness, rebates, pads, hobs, step-downs for garages, porches, and showers, in-slab insulation or hydronic heating, electrical and plumbing conduits including kitchen island services, external service conduits for gas and NBN, drainage and pits per civil plans, reinforcement, bored piers or screw piles, retaining walls and waterproofing, and site readiness. Use it to capture photos, add comments, and sign off to ensure quality and compliance.
