Use this Landscape Pre-Site Commencement checklist to verify site readiness before landscaping on new developments and display homes. Capture OHS hazards such as steep slopes, unstable ground, work at heights, busy roads, and overhead powerlines. Confirm site cleanliness, utilities (gas, electricity, water) including meters, taps and leaks, and plumbing and drainage like silt pits, inspection points and pit heights. Check concreting, landscape levels and cut, fencing and sleepers, clotheslines, machine access and maneuvering space. Standardize pre-start reviews, prevent rework, and ensure safety and compliance.
