IQ Student Accommodation Health and Safety Inspection

This template supports site managers inspecting health, safety and environmental controls on student accommodation construction or refurbishment projects. Review CDM 2015 requirements, construction phase plans, notice boards and fire plans. Check method statements, risk and COSHH assessments, and permits to work. Verify inductions and training, signage, access and segregation from students, welfare and PPE. Capture fire safety and first aid details, PAT and electrical checks, occupational health controls for dust, noise and vibration, and COVID guidance. Inspect work at height, plant and lifting under PUWER and LOLER, environmental waste management, temporary works, scaffolds and excavations. Record actions and sign off.
