This Hot Works Permit to Work checklist helps teams control welding, grinding, cutting and other ignition sources on site. Record work details, validity times, company and supervisor, number of personnel, and verify risk assessments and method statements. Confirm fire precautions such as extra extinguishers, fire blankets, fire watch, and any detection or suppression system isolations. Document isolations for electrical or mechanical equipment, PPE requirements, removal of combustibles, and screens for weld flash. Capture acceptances, approvals, renewals and completion checks, including post-work inspections to ensure no smouldering materials remain.
