Use this QA and QC traveler to audit underground trenching and feeder installation for electrical systems. Guide crews and quality managers through checks for trench width and depth per drawing E400, minimum 30 in to top of cable and 34 in trench depth, bedding aggregate no larger than 3/8 in with at least 3 in surrounding conductors, ground conductor installation, native backfill and compaction per the geotechnical report, electrical warning tape a minimum of 12 in above cables with added tape for trenches wider than 24 in, proper offsets from tracker piles, and clearances at intersections above MV AC cable. Capture photos, notes, corrective actions, assign responsibilities, and complete digital sign offs for compliance.
