This scaffolding toolbox talk template helps supervisors brief teams and capture sign off before working at height. It covers safe access using ladders or stairs, correct ladder angles, tying ladders, and removing access after work. It explains safe loading practices, keeping walkways clear, stacking materials securely, and using brick guards. It highlights required guard rails and toe boards, avoiding incomplete scaffolds, not removing ties or bracing, and safely lowering materials. It includes quick pre shift visual checks, reporting defects, and the requirement for a competent person to inspect scaffolding every seven days with records kept.
