Eurogold Groundworks Health and Safety Audit
by Jonny Ellis, from the Community
This groundworks health and safety audit checklist helps site teams and supervisors verify compliance on construction projects. It covers safety documentation such as inductions, risk and method statements, COSHH, insurance, training and inspection records. Site setup and management include welfare, signage, muster point and first aid. Plant and equipment checks include daily inspections, PAT, LOLER, beacons, alarms, guards, seatbelts and use of banksmen. Workplace controls address housekeeping, excavations, temporary works, confined spaces, material storage, access and egress, scaffolds and work at height. PPE requirements are verified along with toolbox talks, permits, spill control and fire safety. Use this template to identify hazards, raise corrective actions and improve compliance across groundworks operations.
