This EA Site Inspection checklist helps construction and civil works teams systematically assess site safety, environmental protection, and compliance. It covers supervision and workforce competence (CSCS/CPCS, SMSTS), inductions, RAMS and method statements, permits to work, active monitoring and statutory inspections (PUWER, LOLER), plant and equipment condition and use, traffic management, welfare and first aid, PPE and fire safety. It includes controls for excavations, work at height, electrical and confined space safety, manual handling, COSHH and hot works, noise, lifting operations, and work in or near water. Environmental controls address spills, silt, timber compliance, invasive non‑native species, protected habitats, waste management, and biosecurity. Temporary works governance, emergency arrangements, and sign-off are also included.
