Verify the presence of a secure COSHH store and safety signage, product hazard data sheets, and task specific COSHH risk assessments. Check correct storage and ventilation, substance condition and expiry, and that operatives are trained on safe use, PPE selection and fit testing, hygiene, emergency actions, storage and disposal. Confirm precautions are followed, health surveillance is in place, suitable spill kits are available, and air monitoring is conducted where exposure limits apply. Include Sypol COSHH assessments in RAMS and identify any additional training required.
